Temperature-related glass defects and methods of correction:

  

1. If the set temperature is too high and the heating time is too long, the glass will appear wave. This is because the heating of the glass has exceeded the critical point, and the glass has begun to soften. If this defect occurs, the heating time is only required. Shortening can solve.

  

2 , the heating time of the pitting point is too long will cause pitting on the lower surface of the glass, pitting can be divided into two types, one is dense, orange peel, which is caused by excessive heating time, (especially It is thick glass of 12 mm or more, and some units set the heating time to be long in order to make it not broken.) It can be adjusted according to the situation. The other is an individual star-shaped pitting, which is caused by the surface of the upper stage and the ceramic roll being unclean, or the glass of the winder roll is not cleaned.

  

3 , white mist and white fog is in the middle of the lower surface of the glass, there is a white trace, it usually appears in the first few furnaces of the initial production, which is caused by the surface temperature of the ceramic roller is too high, when the glass enters the furnace initial Within a few tens of seconds, the lower surface of the glass is directly subjected to heat conduction and curled at four corners, and the contact surface between the glass and the ceramic roll becomes small, and the frictional force with the ceramic roll increases, and the surface temperature of the ceramic roll disappears as the surface temperature decreases. We can set the lower temperature to be lower in the initial production, and lower the lower power. In addition, it must be continuously produced, and the furnace can not be operated empty. If it is not produced temporarily, the heating switch can be turned off to prevent it. White fog appeared.

  

4 , bending When we produce home appliance panel glass , if the bending is generally determined by adjusting the wind pressure, or adjusting the blowing distance, it is very effective and fast. However, some operators do not understand that the difference in temperature between the upper and lower will also cause the glass to bend. Assuming the blowing distance of the wind segment is equal to the wind pressure, if the four corners of the glass are bent upwards, the lower temperature is too low. If the corners of the glass are bent downwards, the temperature in the lower part is too high. If it is necessary to adjust the temperature to make the glass flat, it can be solved without one or two furnaces, and it takes several furnaces.

  

5 , the spherical surface is made when the thin glass is less than 6 mm and the layout is relatively large. It can be adjusted by the temperature adjustment function to increase the vertical temperature in the middle longitudinal direction. Sometimes it needs to be increased by about 30 degrees. ( Incremented from the second row on both sides in the vertical direction ). An operator should understand that the relationship between temperature and optical performance is: high temperature, long heating time, high yield, but poor optical performance; otherwise, low temperature, or short heating time, good optical performance, but low yield . This requires us to carefully summarize and find better results. The temperature is highly dependent on the particle size of the panel glass of the appliance ; under the conditions of equal wind pressure, the temperature is high and the particles are small, and the temperature is low.
